Your initial appointment will consist of a 45-60 minute consultation with one of our providers. During this visit you can expect a personal experience from the moment you enter our office until you leave.
At the time you schedule your consultation our office staff will give you the option to download our new patient forms or to receive them in the mail. It is important that you have these forms completed and with you the day of your consultation.
When you arrive for your appointment you won’t find a large waiting room full of patients. We schedule our patients for the most minimal amount of wait time and to gain as much time one on one with the provider as possible. You will be greeted by one of our administrative staff members (Martha) who will go over your paperwork with you and gather your insurance and billing information.
Once inside the provider’s office you will notice it looks very different from a typical exam room. There are no sterile tables, harsh lights or paper gowns. The provider will go over your health history information with you page by page so that they can get the most accurate picture of your health and well being. At this time the provider will also go over any labs that you may have brought or supplements you might be taking. After collecting as much personal and medical information about you as possible the provider will explain what they feel to be the clearest plan of action. This could include laboratory testing, medication, nutritional supplements or a variety of other options. After the assessment the provider will answer any questions you may have. The provider will discuss with you and a staff member at what point a follow up visit is needed (typically within 2 weeks) to review your lab work and establish a treatment plan. Our staff will complete the check out process, call in any prescriptions for you and schedule your follow up appointment at that time.
If you have any questions following your consultation please feel free to contact the office and our staff will personally help you navigate the process.
